StreetCaught has no accounts, no ads and no analytics. Your collection and progress stay on your phone. The only thing that leaves your device is the photo you take when you scan a car, so it can be identified.

Camera and scan photos
- The camera is used only when you scan a car, live. Photos from your library are never read.
- When you scan, a reduced copy of the photo is sent to our identification service (hosted on Cloudflare), which asks Google's Gemini AI to recognize the car's make, model, year and body type.
- We do not store your photos on our servers and do not link them to you. Google processes the image to answer the request under its own terms and may keep it for a limited time for abuse monitoring.
- The scan photo that appears on your card stays on your device.
Missing cars list
When the AI recognizes a car that is not yet in our catalogue, we record only its make, model, year, body type and a confidence score, so we can add it later. No photo, no location and no player identifier is recorded.
Location
Location is optional. It is used to mark the approximate area where you caught a car, on your own capture map. It is stored on your device.
Friends challenges
A challenge is a short code that you choose to share yourself (by message, for example). It contains only the cars and settings of your hand. It is not sent to our servers.
What we do not do
- No account, name, email or phone number is collected in the app.
- No advertising, no tracking across apps or websites, no data sold or shared for marketing.
- No analytics or crash-reporting tools.
Children
StreetCaught does not knowingly collect personal information from children and does not ask for any personal information.
Your choices
- You can deny camera or location access in iOS Settings at any time.
- You can erase all game data in the app (Profile, Settings, Erase all data), or by deleting the app.

Changes
If this policy changes, for example if accounts or ads are added, this page will be updated before the change is released, and the date above will change.
